What a silly little moment
I dreamed of a walk in the rain
Troubles ceased
You were there
We laughed at all the rain
And upturned our hands
I woke up
Such an ordinary moment
I walk to my car
You run to catch me before I go
You ask me out based on nothing
I say yes based on nothing
It was nothing
We broke before we bent
What an interesting moment
I left my man not a half day prior
We cuddled, we kissed
We slept on our friend's couch
Til morning when I left
Who'd have guessed
You'd be my one and only
One night stand
Two years later
Such a painful moment
Most nights I hardly slept
On this night
You held me close to your side
I cried into your shirt as you snored
I got up to leave; go home for the night
You woke, became angry
Stuck me and ordered me back in bed
What an inspiring moment
We spent hours in a coffee shop
You draw my picture time and again
As I hum harmonies to music
Emanating from cheap speakers
I'm watching you watch me
I won't meet your eyes
I'll keep staring at the centerpiece's fake flower
Such beautiful moments
You took my hand and told me your name
Weeks passed
You took my hand and kissed it, bid me farewell
Months pass
You hold me close and whisper your heart to me
Between the lines, so many moments
We danced, we walked under the stars
through the woods on a gentle summer day
This is the end of a colorless era
I want to live and love you the right way
You and me
Will always be
See, what all our hearts have faced
Our memories will never be replaced
